Welcome to the Middlesboro Independent School District website. Middlesboro ISD has been providing a quality education to students in our area for over one hundred years. In our district you will find teachers and staff who are dedicated and committed to providing the best education possible for our students. We believe that this can be accomplished by making students’ lessons relevant to their lives; by implementing a rigorous curriculum that incorporates 21st Century learning skills; and by developing positive one-to-one relationships with our students. Our class and school building student numbers allow us to build a community of learners where all students feel included.
We are a progressive school district and believe in educating the whole child so we offer a wide array of extra-curricular activities for all our students - music, art, drama, sports, and learning field trips.
