3-5 Kindergarten Readiness Program

The 3-5 Kindergarten Readiness Program compliments the Early Steps to School Success programming. A full-time Kindergarten Readiness Ambassador operates this full 12-month program which includes two components – the Family Readiness and Community Readiness components that together provide targeted services to 40 children ages 3-5 years with their parents/caregivers, in addition to community-wide awareness, engagement and collaboration activities to increase access to early learning opportunities for families with young children throughout the community.
Children not currently enrolled in a preschool, or other early learning program have priority for enrollment; however, each program is encouraged to work with local school administrators/staff to identify children in greatest need for family supports prior to Kindergarten entry.
