S'more Fun Reading Night! MES Students enjoy reading activity fun with students from Lincoln Memorial University and Union College.


Middlesboro Elementary School hosted a Family Reading Night on Thursday, November 2nd.  Families were treated to s'mores, campfire stories, and reading games.  

Education students from Lincoln Memorial University and Union College directed actvities for the night through the LINK Grant.

The Summer Feed and Read Program has made a big splash in the community. Tina Schnieder and Shannon Barnard, two of the people who spearheaded the program at the Middlesboro Elementary School, couldn’t be happier with the results they’ve seen.
